InsuranceSuite Icons
Guidewire Software, Inc, commissioned Delve Fonts to create a collection of “pixel-perfect” icons for use at 16px in their proprietary insurance industry software suite. Given very specific concepts like “Subrogation”, we worked closely with their in-house designers and creative staff to set about some deep thinking to visually translate these unfamiliar, sometimes abstract ideas into more readily interpreted iconography. When the perfect representation for particularly difficult concepts did not have a visual metaphor — neither analog or digital — we invoked the familiar mantra to just ‘keep it simple’.
The completed icons were delivered as a fully functioning OpenType font and as individual SVG files to meet the needs of their internal software engineering teams. Working diligently (sometimes through multiple iterations) on a deadline to accommodate a slated release date, we successfully completed the project on time and within budget.
